Dry, chapped lips can’t be worked on so to allow for the most pigment retention make sure you do these 3 things to ensure the best results… 💋

🧴 Keep lips exfoliated and moisturised for 2 weeks before treatment

💧 Stay hydrated - drink plenty of water pre and post treatment for quicker healing time

🍷 ☕️ No alcohol or caffeine 48hrs prior to your treatment

… It’s all in the preparation! 😘

When I trained as a PMU artist 13 years ago I never thought I would have to be a fully qualified photographer and content creator as well! 🤯

When I started out I had a basic website, posters in windows and a printed portfolio in my clinics … Old school! 😳

But oh how times have changed! 💻 🤓

When I started out I had a basic website, posters in windows and a printed portfolio in my clinics … Old school! 😳

But oh how times have changed! 💻 🤓

Creating content is like a second job but it’s the way of the world now and waaaay more fun than a printed poster! 😂🤣

But I still want to put my social media gal in the bin when content day rolls around! 🫣

These are just some of the questions I get asked after you’ve had your treatments and I’m here to tell you NO!!🚫🙅🏼‍♀️

Well at least not for the first 2 weeks- It’s not forever I promise 😂

Here are my aftercare tips that I basically scare monger my clients into following! But we know that’s what gets us the good results - I promise it’s worth the wait!⏰

💛 No make up on or near the area 💄

💛 Avoid skincare, creams or moisturisers over the treated area 🧴

💛 No swimming, saunas, hot tubs or heat treatments 🏊‍♀️

And finally the most important tip…trust the process!! ✨

They always look sharper, darker and more defined but once the healing stage is over you’ll be left with your beautiful, soft and natural results! 🥰

What’s the difference??

A lot of people ask for microblading when they’re wanting hairstroke brows not realising that…

❔Microblading
❔Semi permanent makeup
❔Permanent makeup

❔Tattooed brows

Are all the names for basically the same thing - implanting pigment into the skin, just to make it confusing for you all 😱🤯

Microblading is a bit of a buzz word at the moment and most people assume that to achieve beautifully crisp hairstrokes you must use a microblade

THIS IS NOT THE CASE ❌

A Microblade and the Digital Machine are the two different tools that are used to create your enhancement.

I’m fully trained in both and it depends on many factors such as the clients age, skin type and desired effect which I use for best results 🥰

99% of clients have the machine as microblading only suits a very small portion of skin types.

⚡️ Machine Method: A disposable super duper fine needle is placed into the machine which then electronically works the needle in and out (like a sewing machine) to perfectly place pigment into the skin at the correct depth causing minimal trauma.

⚡️ Microblading: Is a manual (non electric) hand held tool consisting of multiple nano needles compact together to form a blade which then manually slices the skin implanting the pigment.

Both are amazing tools and when done with the correct skill and experience can give you beautifully healed PMU treatments 🤌🏼😘

Here’s how to avoid drooping corners of the mouth … 👄

Another joy as we get older and gravity sets in, is the corners of the mouth can start to turn down giving us a trout pout!🙁🐟

The 5 point lip trick will not only make your lips look more symmetrical, fuller and defined by also give you that youthful lifted effect … 💋

Step 1: Along your bottom lip, look at where the lip starts to curve up and make 2 dots (the middle of the lip should be the lowest point)

Step 2: Mark dots 3 & 4 on each of the highest points on your Cupid’s bow

Step 3: Directly in the middle of those mark your 5th dot at the lowest point on your cupid’s bow

Step 4: Join the dots!

Make sure you keep the emphasis through the center of the lip area and avoid taking the line all the way to the corners of the mouth to draw the eye to the fuller area and create that lifting illusion…

Then you gloss and go! 😘

✨ It’s better for your skin - the less we work the skin the better quality it will be in
💸 Your bank balance - boosting brows that don’t need doing is literally throwing money away as you won’t see any difference!
⚒️ If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Treatments are always nicer when they’re freshly done 🥰 but it’s a fine balance between them being in need of a zhuzh and being over worked and looking like you’ve been drawn on with a permanent marker! 🖊️😱 (no THANK YOU!)

When you start to look washed out and feel the need to use conventional makeup again, that’s when you know you need a little colour boost to revive and refresh the colour ⏰ 🌈

A one off colour boost treatment is recommended between 12 - 24 months after your initial procedure as maintenance to zhuzh up the appearance of your enhancement 🤩✨

Keep in mind this timescale differs from person to person due to your own immune system and skin type 📆 ⏰

I attended performing arts school to study art,design & theatre and whilst I did get my cameo presenting on Nickelodeon Kids 📺 I couldn’t wait to see the 🌍 and set off with my 🎒 when I was 17 to Thailand, Australia, Fiji and America ✈️ 👋🏼 the travel bug (and backpack) has never left me!

In between my travels I came back and entered the corporate world and worked as an exec PA which I was terrible at as I don’t like being told what to do! While the boozy lunches were fun it made me realise I wanted to be my own boss so when the recession hit I took voluntary redundancy and invested in my first PMU training course with @naturalenhancementacademy and I’ve never looked back! 🧡

I’ve been with the love of my life Joe for 15 years, no kids and not married maybe one day when we are all grown up! 👵🏻👴🏼

I love a hobby and I’m currently learning Spanish on @duolingo as well as zooming around on my 🛼 and I’ve just started tap dancing 💃🏼

To counteract my crisp addiction you’ll find me doing Pilates at my besties beautiful studio @powerpilatesuk and I have an amazing boxing trainer @bobbybfitness 🥊 💥 who whoops my a$$ into shape! 💪🏼
